Carmistin International has completed the implementation of a project with European funding for a total of over 13.7 million of her to support investments in social entrepreneurial initiatives at the South-Muntenia Regions level, South West and West, establishing 29 structures of social economy, in order to develop the social economy and increase works at regional level.
The total of the people recorded in the Target Group, 174 people from the South-Muntenia regions, in the South-West and in the west participated in training courses in the field of social entrepreneurship, accredited by Ann, 115 degree participants. The training program has facilitated participants with the acquisition of new skills and skills useful in starting and in the efficient management of some companies, as well as the possibility of transmitting the information and knowledge acquired to other founding members of social economic companies and even employees, customers or beneficiaries.
This program aims to help develop the economic and social environment at regional level, but also to increase employment in the area, through the works just created.
«Last but not less important, I aimed to obtain long -term results by increasing the amount of AIDS accompanied at regional level for the start of a company in the social economy sector and facilitating access to new entrepreneurs to the social economy of non -reimbursements,» said Andrei Brumaru, manager of the project in Susin and executive director of Carmistin.
The title of the project is «Social start-ups for national assistance of sustainable development» (MySmis code: 127434) and its value is 13,713,622.25 she, of which over 98% is non-refundable financing-13,516,849.39, your contribution is 196,772.86 her.
The implementation period of the project was 36 months, between June 3, 2019-12 September 2025, taking into account the suspension periods that intervened following the restrictions imposed by the authorities in the context of the Covid-19 pandemic.
The general objective was to support investments in social entrepreneurial initiatives at the level of the South-Muntenia, South-West and West regions, creating 29 structures of social economy, In order to develop the social economy and increase employment at regional level.
The specific objectives of the project aimed:
- Increase the level of information and awareness at a south-communicia, south-west and west level for the benefits of social economy, their use and sustainable economic development at regional level.
- Develop the level of entrepreneurial skills in the social economy between 112 people and a guide in order to create a corporate plan and establish new social economic companies.
- Increase the employment rate at the level of the South-Muntenia regions, to the south-west and west organizing 29 economic companies and creating 93 new jobs.
The main results obtained from the implementation of the project are:
- The selection, the recruitment in the project of 192 people of which 45% were women and 26% came from the rural area;
- The professional training of 174 people including 115 graduates of the specialization course authorized the anch «entrepreneur in the social economy».
- Selection of the best 29 business plans developed by the people formed.
- 29 Future tutoring entrepreneurs, recommended to start and manage and sustainable new businesses in the field of social economy.
- Grant 27 subsidies for the establishment of sustainable social enterprises.
- 2 subsidies * 54,000 euros (for the creation of at least 2 jobs)
- 19 subsidies * 69,950 euros (for the creation of at least 3 jobs)
- 6 subsidies * 99,950 euros (for the creation of at least 5 jobs)
- At least 91 jobs created within the 27 established social enterprises.
Carman is among the first Romanian food producers. The group includes over 20 companies active in the animal reproduction sector (chicken, pig, cattle), the production of biological eggs and production of cereals, within Carmistin, being currently integrated farmers with over 10,000 cultivated land hectares, of which over 3,000 hectares representing organic agriculture.
The company's goal is to become the largest animal protein manufacturer in Romania, finalizing an integrated system throughout the food production chain, with a permanent concern for the welfare of animals and compared to nature and the environment. Carmistin has also decided to become the Romanian company with the smallest carbon imprint for kg of meat produced.
